Description

The Electric 1200C Three Zone Split Tube Furnace, 1000-1500 degree Celsius is designed for industrial high-temperature processing of materials as per client requirements.. Three separate heating zones line the tube, each driven by its own thermocouple and controller so that every zone holds the exact set point the user enters. Electric resistance coils heat the ceramic chamber - the coils reach temperature quickly and lose little heat through the insulated shell. A hinged steel shell splits open along the horizontal centre line. When the operator releases the latch, the top half swings upward but also the work tube becomes fully exposed. Samples in crucibles or boats slide in and out without obstruction as well as the tube itself cleans or changes in minutes. Once the shell closes, the two halves press against a fibre gasket - heat then flows evenly around the tube wall and the temperature difference between zones stays within a few degrees. The furnace suits melting of metals, glass or salts, ageing or annealing cycles and laboratory studies on reaction kinetics. Because the three zones act independently, a user can run three separate tests at once or establish a controlled gradient along a single long sample. Each run repeats the same ramp, dwell next to cooling sequence so long as the controller program stays unchanged.
